Kelly Clarkson's Sin City Performance » Gossip - Giving eager fans a crowd-pleasing performance, Kelly Clarkson took the stage at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, NV as part of her Stronger tour on Friday evening (July 27).

The former "American Idol" winner, who also took the stage with The Fray, looked sexy in a skin tight black ensemble as she belted out some of her best songs for the awaiting crowd.

As part of her 30+ city tour, Kelly has started doing something a little different this time around. At the beginning of each one of her shows, Clarkson asks fans to submit a song by another artist that they would like to see her perform first hand.

So far, the new addition has been quite a hit with the fans and just this week the 30 year old has sung Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" along with "one of [her] favourite Britney Spears songs," "Everytime."

Next stop on the tour will be tonight in Murphys, CA before heading to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles this week. Check out Kelly's Cosmopolitan performance in the player below!

Hayden Panettiere: 'Nashville' Character Does NOT Portray Taylor Swift » Gossip - Opening up about her latest role, Hayden Panettiere put to rest any question that her "Nashville" character portrays the super-talented Taylor Swift.

On Friday (July 27), the "Bring It On Again" actress attended a Television Critics Association event where she told press that the two don't have many similarities, saying, "I think aside from being around the same age and blonde… they’re very different. I think once you see her and get to know [my character] a little bit better, you’ll see that.”

Further explaining that the lack of comparison may actually be a good thing, Hayden dished, "I really think Taylor would disagree wholeheartedly as well. She’s much nicer than my character.”

In the new ABC drama, the 22 year-old stars as an upcoming musician who begins to take the spotlight from a country singing veteran played by Connie Britton. The fading Nashville superstar ends up being forced to team up with the new teen sensation or face the loss of her tour and promotion of her latest records.

Victoria Justice Is "So Pumped" For Upcoming 'Make it in America' Tour » Gossip - Promoting her upcoming “Make It In America” tour, Victoria Justice phoned in to “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Friday (July 27).

Talking about the show, the "Victorious" star told Ryan, “I’m so pumped. I’m really ready. I’ve been rehearing and stuff and I’m doing some cool covers and performing a bunch of songs from the show that I think the fans will know, and I have a really great opening act."

As for what song she's most proud of, Victoria explained, “It’s called my ‘Make It In America’ tour, which is actually a song that I wrote which ended up on ‘Victorious,’ so I think it’s the song that I’m probably most proud of and that is one of my favorites. It’s a pretty like epic song. It’s like very passionate.”

One hunky singer she'd like to see tag along for one of her performances is a "Jonas Brothers" bandmate admitting, “I would love for [Nick] to come to one of the shows. I was telling him he has to come. Actually a couple of my band members went on tour and my tour manager managed the Jonas Brothers for a while.” adding, “They’re really cool guys. I really like all of them. They’re super nice."

When the 19-year-old was asked if she ever gets mistaken for "The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev she exclaimed, "Omigosh! You have no idea how often I get told that I look like Nina Dobrev and it’s funny because I’ve been on red carpets before, and I was at, actually like a few years ago, at the premiere of her MTV movie or something that she was doing, and one of her cast mates saw me from behind and comes up and grabs me and squeezes me and kisses me and he’s like, ‘Nina, you look beautiful.’ And then I turn around and I’m like, ‘Um. I’m definitely not. I’m Victoria.’ I swear to you though, it happens like so many, like everyday I get this.”

The outing comes just hours after Bieber took to Twitter to announce the release of a preview clip from his new project for his single “As Long as You Love Me.”

In the 1:35 teaser, the “Baby” singer shows up at his girlfriend’s house, only to be rebuffed by her father, played by the legendary Michael Madsen.

Of the footage's debut, Justin excitedly wrote, “I promised a 1 minute clip from the Music Short Film for ‘As Long As You Love Me’ off the new album BELIEVE. and yes…it stars Michael Madsen. nice. Here it is…the rest of the video hits this coming WEDNESDAY…it is INSANE!”

Void of any serious threats to its pole position standing, Christopher Nolan's final Batman installment starring Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway nearly quadrupled the nearest competitor while notching an estimated $20.1 million on Friday and pacing towards a $66.7 million sophomore weekend box office total.

Situated in a distant second place standing is the Scott Speer directed dancing drama "Step Up Revolution," as the Summit Entertainment produced theatrical newcomer garnered $5.5 million on opening day which puts its projected first weekend earnings at a tepid $13.2 million.

Filling out the top five at the box office in expected totals are the just-released Vince Vaughn/Jonah Hill/Ben Stiller starring comedy "The Watch" ($13 million), followed by Twentieth Century Fox Animation/Blue Sky Studios' animated tale "Ice Age: Continental Drift" ($11.5 million) and Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis' talking teddy bear film "Ted" ($6.2 million).

James Bond, played by Daniel Craig, escorted the royal highness from her palace in a private helicopter that the pair exited by parachutes into the cheering stadium.

In addition to the exciting entrance, audiences also got to enjoy a new TV ad for the 44-year-old actor’s newest Sam Mendes directed Bond film.

“Skyfall” is the 23rd installment into the franchise and follows Bond as his loyalty to agent M, played by Judi Dench, is tested when dark secrets from her past come to fruition.

Arriving in theaters on November 9, “Skyfall” also stars Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney and Ben Whishaw.

There to chat about her new Aaron Sorkin drama "The Newsroom" - which is a series revolving around an anchor forced to move from his comfy cable show to a completely different news team - the 32-year-old actress spoke about her character, Sloan Sabbith, as she joked, "I am the financial news reporter and my character has two PhDs, a lot like myself."

With the latest episode set to air on Sunday (July 29), Miss Munn went on to add, "The great thing about her is that she could be making, you know, four times as much working at Goldman Sachs, but she knows that her calling is to do economic news."

During the course of the talk show appearance, Olivia also displayed her musical chops as she joined The Roots during a commercial break to rock out on an electric guitar.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the extended trailer for “Cloud Atlas” featuring the 45-year-old stunner and Tom Hanks was recently released.

Per the synopsis, “‘Cloud Atlas’ is an exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution.”

Directed by Lana Wachowski, Tom Tykwer and Andy Wachowski, it also stars Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D'Arcy, Zhou Xun, Keith David, David Gyasi, Susan Sarandon and Hugh Grant.
